Bio

I am a third-year graduate student (Ph.D.) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT. My research interests span across robotics and controls, and applications of learning and optimization in autonomous systems. Recently, I have been exploring the domain of testing and verification in robotics. I am currently working as a graduate research assistant, advised by Prof. Chuchu Fan in the Reliable Autonomous Systems Lab (REALM), in the Department of Aeronautics at MIT. I received my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in May 2023, advised by Dr. Anuradha Annaswamy (Active Adaptive Controls Lab, MIT).

I completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Indore in June 2020, where I conducted research on design and dynamic modelling of a novel Underwater Autonomous Vehicle (UAV) with rotatable thrusters.

Prior to joining MIT, I worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at John Deere, for the Robotics team at the Factory Automation division. My role involved prototype design and software development of Autonomous Guided Vehicles for John Deere factories.

I have been a recipient of Siemens Fellowship (2021-22) for the first year of my graduate research, J.N. Tata Scholarship (Awarded in 2020), NTSE Scholarship (2014-20).
